PHYSICIANS

Amy Knoeller, MD

Dr. Amy Knoeller became part of our practice in 1992 after completing a residency at the University of Connecticut. She attended Albany Medical College and has advanced training in ultrasonography and bone densitometry. Dr. Knoeller also has special advanced training in laser and laparoscopic surgery, as well as minimally invasive da Vinci Robotic surgery. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Amos Cutler, MD

Dr. Amos Cutler joined our practice in 2003 after having served as chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oneida Hospital, Oneida, NY. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine and completed his residency at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Dr. Cutler has advanced training in ultrasonography and bone densitometry. He has special advanced training in laser laparoscopic surgery and in minimally invasive da Vinci Robotic surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Eliot Birnbaum, MD

Dr. Eliot Birbaum joined our practice in 2012. He has been in private practice since 1992. Dr. Birnbaum is a graduate of the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency at George Washington University Medical Center. He has advanced training in ultrasonography, as well as laparoscopic surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Susan Bradford, MD

Dr. Susan Bradford has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2013. After earning a medical degree from the University of Virginia, she completed her Residency in OB/GYN and Reproductive Medicine at the University of Rochester. Dr. Bradford joined Saratoga OB/GYN in September 2023 from Women’s Care in Saratoga where she was an Attending Physician. Dr. Bradford is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and DaVinci Robotic Certified since 2013. Dr. Bradford has also earned her Nexplanon Certification and ACLS certification.

Ali Doyle, MD

Dr. Ali Doyle joined Saratoga OB/GYN in September 2023. She comes to us from Women’s Care in Saratoga, where she has practiced for the past 10 years. Dr. Doyle completed her Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Upstate Medical University, Department of OB/GYN. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from American University in Washington, DC. She has training in ultrasonography and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Doyle is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Anouk Lambers, MD

Dr. Anouk Lambers has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology since 2004. After earning a medical degree from Leiden University in the Netherlands, she completed an internship and residency in OB/GYN at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Lambers’ passion is minimally invasive gynecology. She came to Saratoga from Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, where she was a member of the robotic gynecologic surgery team. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Along with Dr. Siobhan Hayden in our practice, Dr. Lambers is one of two physicians in Northeastern New York to be designated a "Surgeon of Excellence" in minimally invasive gynecology by the Surgical Review Corporation.

S. Susan Verleger, MD

Dr. Susan Verleger came to us in 2018 after practicing obstetrics and gynecology at Nile Women’s Healthcare in Roswell, Georgia. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed a residency and internship in OB/GYN at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Verleger is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Siobhan Hayden, MD

Dr. Siobhan Hayden has more than 15 years of OB/GYN experience, most recently at Basset Medical Center in Cooperstown. There, she was obstetrician-and-gynecologist-in chief and a member of the robotic gynecologic surgery team. Raised in Saratoga Springs, Dr. Hayden joined our practice to serve the community that she has always loved. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse and completed an OB/GYN internship and residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center. Dr. Hayden is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is one of two physicians in Northeastern New York—along with Dr. Anouk Lambers, also in our practice—to be designated a "Surgeon of Excellence" in minimally invasive gynecology by the Surgical Review Corporation.

Catelyn Halusic-Smith, DO

Dr. Catelyn Halusic-Smith joined Saratoga OB/GYN in September 2020. She comes to us from Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, New York, where she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Halusic Smith earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, New York. She has bachelor’s degrees in molecular genetics and Spanish from the University of Rochester.

NURSE PRACTITIONERS

Paula Curro-Casey, NP

Nurse Practitioner Paula Curro-Casey received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing through the College of New Rochelle in 1983 and her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner Certification from Pace University in 1995. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society. Paula has practiced in Women’s Health since her Nurse Practitioner certification in 1995.

Bernice Moeller-Bloom, NP

Nurse Practitioner Bernice Moeller-Bloom earned her RN from New England Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing in 1985 and her certificate as a Nurse Practitioner in OB/GYN from Planned Parenthood Federation and the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. She has been in private practice since 1992.

MIDWIVES

Kelly Goldenberg, CNM

Our Certified Nurse Midwife Kelly Goldenberg’s scope of practice includes well-woman care, contraception, and obstetrics. She attends labor and births at Saratoga Hospital, where hydrotherapy is available for labor, as is anesthesia, as needed. Kelly has been certified to assist the surgeons in Cesarean births. She is also certified to perform circumcision.
